Yes i do play poker.

Many people seem think i don't play poker anymore, i must admit i fell out of love with the game, used to play solely on ladbrokes and used to do OK, many old players will remember me playing throughout the night in the graveyard.

Those were the good old days, could have a laugh with the drunks and druggies who were up and playing because they were too high or were scared to piss the bed. Many a laugh would be had playing nightly only to get to the final table and hear the birds start singing and the policeman over the road come in from the nightshift.

Then as in life things change and priority's change, i played on ladbrokes a few weeks ago but have found myself playing more on betfair, i like the fact i can slip under the radar and not care that someone See's me play a pot out of position or call a raise when i should have folded. I think poker is much more than ABC, yes people play different and not all play like we want them too.

Don't get me wrong i hate bad beats and yes i give a few verbals, i think everyone should have a release valve, but i tend not to think about it too much after a couple of minutes. I don't feel the need to post about it, not saying people should not do that as i say we all need a release valve.

I just find it funny that i have seen people post about how unlucky they get and yet forget how they have done in only a few hands previous. That's why i like playing where no-one knows who you are, can play hands in other ways and yes make the odd bad call.

I was once asked what do i do because i never make a post about poker.

The simple reason is i hate bad beats posts we all get them and we all give them, then when asked how you would play a hand, a lot depends on the mood you are in from day to day, you might play a hand much differently due to the day you have had. Then who knows how the previous hands have been played and what you have done before, many question why the other person played the hand, sometimes they forget on how themselves have played previously.

I find myself playing cash more now days, only on 1-2 levels or sometimes on the 5-10 levels if its fixed limit, if there is ever a game that will get you screaming fixed limit is it, not sure why i like it, maybe it the macabre sense i sometimes have inside me that is bursting to get out.

So don't worry, yes i do play poker still and just maybe i will once again deposit some $$$ back into ladbrokes and start playing again. I look forward to Ruddock what a muff coming to a forum near you soon.
