Will it be a Super Sunday.

Well l certainly need it to be a Super Sunday after yesterday results, the luck you need in you bets went against me yesterday. Ipswich once again missing a number of chances, while the normally reliable Dan Carter missing kicks that he would usually make in his sleep.

Todays acca is

Spurs @ 1.50
Milan @ 1.50
Hamburg @ 1.50
Juventus @ 1.44

The acca pays 4.86

Football.

In todays Stoke/Portmouth match l fancy Stoke to come out on top, although Pompey have picked up in recent games, going to The Britannia is always a hard place to go to, Stoke have beaten everyone apart from the top sides at home and Portsmouth are not a top side. Portsmouth away form is pretty poor having only won at Wolves. Pompey would be happy with a draw and while many may see that as the safer option I think at the odds l like the look of Stoke. Stoke win @ 2.36

NFL.

Rams V Cardinals

I am going for over 46.5 points in the Arizona Cardinals/ St Louis Rams game, while l am a big Rams fan the plan fact is the Rams are awful. Only Stephen Jackson's running ability is a plus sign in a Rams side that has only won one game this season.

Cardinals are averaging 25 points a game this season, which is not bad since they got off to a poor start. Warner always wants to make a point against his old employers and what with the Rams having one of the worst defences in the NFL. The Rams have put some points on the board as well in the last couple of games. So a fir call in the match is Over 46.5 points @ 1.90

Ravens V Colts.

I am taking the Colts to maintain their unbeaten record after coming from behind to beat the Patriots last week, they face a stern test against the Baltimore Ravens. After last weeks shut out against the Cleveland Browns (the worst team in the NFL) the Browns now face one of the best in the Colts. The Colts never say die attitude is just what is needed against a Ravens side who do not as a rule concede many points. In Peyton Manning the Colts have one of the best quarterbacks in the league to give the Colts the edge. Colts -1.5 points @ 1.90

Good luck and happy punting

Another mixed bag with Hamburg letting me down for the acca and the Rams/Cardinals not making the overs.

On the pluse side the Colts bet the spread and Stoke were some what fortunate to beat Pompey but at the price given was a welcome boost.
