I don't really like betting on my own team as l always seem to get it wrong, while they never played at all well last Saturday against Spurs, l fancy them to go and beat Portsmouth tonight, Villa will play a full strength side apart from Guzan in for Fridal and anyone who saw the last round would not be worried by that at all. Villa have enough pace in their side to prove troublesome for a Pompey side who have more important games coming up in the league. Added to the fact that they are without the cup-tied Boetang, Hara and the injured David James, l would expect Villa to win tonight. Villa @ 2.24

Notts County/Darlington is not a game that bangs out at you but l think overs is a good bet here, County have the fire power to give any side a good hammering in this league, while they have under achieved so far, l think that its only a matter of time before they do. Darlington have picked up a little under Staunton but are still conceding at least two goals a game. Think this game has all the makings of being overs. Over 2.5 goals @ 1.80

Well a good night on the whole wins for Aston Villa and County beating Darlington 4-0 shows a profit for the night. Downside is the acca coming unstuck.
