All the money has been for the Ivory Coast and yes when you look at their squad they are worthy favorites but at the odds l like the look of Cameroon, having won the cup in 2002 they have a player in Samuel Eto who knows where the net is. Their side of the draw looks to have been kind they should win their group and if doing so this would give them an easier passage to the final than their main rivals. A team who also consists of Arsenal's Alexandre Song and Real Betis play maker Achille Emana who could turn out to be player of the tournament are not short of skill themselves.
Many from Scotland will remember the name Paul Le Guen and he has done a good job in getting the Lions working and operating as a team again. Sometimes in the past they have let themselves down with lack of discipline but Le Guen seems to have the team working and playing for each other.
As i said before the Ivory Coast are worthy favourites but at double the prices the Lions are worth a punt with a view to trade on betfair. This could well be the year that Cameroon become the Champions of Africa for a fifth time.
Cameroon @ 6.40 with Betfair to win the African Nations Cup.
