After playing one more game last night l eventually finished on £94. I was disappointed it had been a long night and l had finished £6 down on my first day. It was time to reflect on a better game plan.
The trouble is l always rush in get an idea but not really think it through only after l have started it will l then sit down and think rationally on how to make it better.
The main problem was l was playing too many games at once, as l said before its a marathon not a sprint. No way can l expect to win every day but playing games just for the sake of it wont help.
I need to identify the games with the best percentage of making money. At the moment that looks to be the double your money games(ten pays five) and today l have just played those with a few five seater tables.
The day was a mixture of highs and lows and that is what l am expecting nearly every day from here on in, its just how l overcome the lows. At one point l had reached £106 but then came the lows mixture of bad play by me and the bad beats you get, knocked me down to £88.
In my quest for finding the right strategy l settled on playing two tables at a time, one Ten pays five and the other five seater table. This worked well as l slowly began to get some money back in the satchel.
The time is now nearly midnight and l am finished for the night.
The balance reads £101.09.. Am l finally on my way??
Special mention goes to Diggy8 from Nottingham, l just hope he drives his car faster than he plays poker..
My day reminds me of the joke..
A father bull and a young son bull are on the top of a hill, overlooking a valley full of cows...
"Hey dad!!", says the eager younger bull.. "Let's run down there and have our way with one of them cows!!..."
"No son...", says the father bull, ever so calmly...
"Let's walk down. And have our way with all those cows."
