Day ThreeI have a funny feeling you are going to see more of Homer before the year is out that is providing l last that long. After saying l was finished for the night my stay away from the ladbrokes screen lasted all of half an hour before l was back on the tables, the only problem was l was only on the tables for about twenty minutes before my connection failed me, stalking around the living room waiting for the green light to come back on never made the damn thing connect any quicker.
After about eight minutes l was back on and surprised that the sharks had left me with some blinds, not enough to do any good mind you.
After having the day off, l was back on the tables for the evening shift, it started off very well cashing in my first two games then it all went pear shaped, before long it just seemed l was running through the centre of town without any pants on and everyone is looking. Sets were being beaten by runner runner straights, straights were being beaten by flushes, you get the picture.
The balance was now down to £86 then my luck changed in the double up ten seat game, looking back it was poor play really after calling a raise with pocket jacks, the flop was 4 7 10 the small stack who also called the raise and seemed to play every pot went allin, the initial raiser bet and l went over the top allin the initial raiser called and showed aces the small stack had pocket fours and l was looking dead and buried until a jack on the river knocked the small stack out and the raiser in tatters.
From there l l was steady and cashed for second in a Normal ten seat and played a 18 player multi again cashing for second.
The best and possibly the longest game l have had this week was at a 50 cents Normal five seat table, please don't ask how l found myself sitting at this table because l never even knew ladbrokes played these levels. It was only after finishing second in a marathon heads up battle did l notice my balance had increased by a massive 75cents DOH
At the close of business my balance reads £100.53.
I am hoping to provide a few statistics on Monday with the help of ladbrokes, l would then welcome some view on what games l should carry on with. At the moment it seems to be one step forward two backward.
