Not quite champagne and caviar but its a start.

Day Fourteen.

Don't shout in fact whisper it very quietly but finally l have had three winning days on the trot. Although the profit is small, the slow hard grind is beginning to bare fruit and the balance is climbing. All l need to do now is be careful of the bad days and cut my losses when that happens but as we know that is easier said than done.

Maybe its too early to set myself targets and in all honesty l don't know what would be a good target each week or month or even come the end of the year. Some people might say to be in profit come the end of December would be a bonus. I would like to aim higher than that without getting too carried away.

The past few days l have stuck to playing the ten seat double up tables(ten pays five) for my bread and butter and then using the cash to play the twenty and eighteen seater tables.

I have even started listening to music while l play now, which seems to have calmed me down no end, instead of berating a player when l get knocked out, l now commend them on winning the hand and wish them a good day.(if you believe that you will believe anything)

I even found myself a Omaha double up game, which is a rarity in itself so much so that two people must have put their names down last September hoping it might eventually fill up. Well it did and they never played a hand. I am ashamed to say l left the table in seventh and at the time they had 175 chips left. Now you might ask how come l left in seventh when there are two people who were low on chips? I am afraid my ego got the better of me going into the hand that led to my departure l actually had over 2.5k left in chips and could easily have made the money. Until l stupidly decided to try to put one over someone and my full house ran into a bigger full house.

I can still hear the other players laughing at my demise now..

So back to the quest, with three winning days on the trot so far, although not great amounts..

My balance is £147.17
