Having a ride on the big dipper.

They say life is like a rollercoster, well at the moment my poker balance certainly is. It's been up and down more times than Tiger Woods Y fronts at a beauty pageant.

At times l think my poker balance is being run by Bearings bank, a miserable day on Tuesday saw my balance hit an all time low of £72. I stopped playing three times only to return a short time later all to no effect. My timing was off and l was playing with no respect of my opponents.

To tell you the truth, l think my game has suffered at times pretty badly, making stupid calls and in general playing chite. I have two good days two average days and then two terrible days all in that order. At the moment l am having a good day as the balance is creeping back up.

The trouble l had on Wednesday was l could not win a heads up battle a terrible case of coming second something which the missus finds hard to believe.

In my desperate state to find a game l found myself sitting at a $2.50 Omaha hi lo game, now l can play Omaha but this Hi Lo lark had me totally confused. I am sure some Scandinavian is writing in his blog about a silly guy called Ruddock who he tried to make a buddy as he was a complete fish.

It shows that it can be done if l can just cut out the terrible days which brings me on to the question. When do you stop playing when you are having a terrible run? How many games would you play without cashing before stopping. I think l had a run of about seven games.

Tonight my timing is way off, having trouble laying down hands and starting to second guess myself. Thinking about calling it a night

My balance stands at £94.17
